Job Description:

The wage range for this position is $95-105K with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is also eligible to earn an annual incentive bonus.

In this role, you will join our Treasury team with a focus on supporting financial analysis, analyzing investments and managing projects related to the Company’s global retiree benefit plans, including defined benefit, defined contribution, retiree medical and other benefit plans. These projects impact the Company’s balance sheet and income statement, ensure regulatory compliance and are essential to the future financial health of our employees. Your career as a Treasury Manager, Pension & Benefits at Pitney Bowes will expose you to other core Treasury functions such as capital markets, capital allocation, corporate investments, foreign exchange trading and hedging, cash management and forecasting, and domestic and international banking. These activities are critical to helping our global internal business partners achieve their goals. This position will report into the Director, Pension and Benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monitoring and analysis of investment managers for global pension plans and 401k plans.

  • Utilize financial models to analyze the impact of strategic initiatives related to the pension and benefit plans of the corporation.

  • Prepare materials for Trust Investment Committee meetings and review with senior management.

  • Support the development of an annual budget and forecasts related to our global pension and retiree medical plans.

  • Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, annual audits and all regulatory filings for defined benefit, defined contribution and other benefit plans. Review related sections of the Company’s 10K and 10Q filings.

  • Lead SOX process including process documentation.

  • Manage daily operational activities of the plans - payments of benefit plan invoices, reconciliation of plan expenses and plan accounting, reconciliation of plan asset performance, preparation of journal entries, monitoring and managing liquidity for benefit payments, funding of benefit plan trusts as required and rebalancing of assets as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/MBA with a focus in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Benefits, Corporate Treasury and/or Accounting with solid understanding of financial reporting. Defined benefit and/or defined contribution experience a plus.

  • Financial modeling, problem solving and project management experience; demonstrable leadership skills and ability/experience in influencing others; strong oral and written communication skills, including an ability to listen to and articulate complex concepts in a manner that is audience appropriate.

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized; comfortable working in a matrixed environment.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Bloomberg and other Treasury related systems and on-line banking platforms a plus.
