Job Description:
The wage range for this position is $25 - $30 / hour, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.
This is a Full Time position with Benefits.
This is a Hybrid role, with 3 days in the Tampa office required. (No relocation assistance offered.)
You are:
A Enthusiastic Contributor who can do the day-to-day processing of allocated payrolls. You are a Results-driven team player who will work as an escalation point of contact for all payroll queries.
You will:
Be responsible for the day-to-day processing of allocated payrolls
Be responsible for new local, state and federal tax-id setups
Coordinate with Kronos admins on any changes affecting time feed to Workday Payroll
Responsible for all payroll General Ledger (GL) reconciliations
Responsible for creation and submission of all payroll GL journals
Your background:
As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you have:
Associates degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, etc.)
3+ years payroll experience
Ability to work in a face-paced environment
Experience managing customer relationships and resolving dissatisfied or difficult customer issues
Passionate and willing to learn
Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Employer will not sponsor position for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H-1B).
Preferred
Bachelors degree
Bilingual in Spanish and English
General ledger experience
Payroll tax experience
ADP, Workday, or SAP experience
Canadian payroll experience
