Job Description:

This position is a 10 week internship program that will start June 5th through August 11th. This will be a remote opportunity. The wage range for this position is $17 to $23 with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.

You are:

An organized, self-motivated contributor with strong written, oral and visual communication skills, a positive attitude, and a keen eye for detail. You are interested in exploring a future in public relations, , media relations or/and social media.

You will:

  • Research content for press releases, social media posts, blogs and byline articles

  • Maintain external media lists

  • Grow @pbnews Twitter handle and update Twitter lists

  • Create social media content for PB channels, @pbnews and C-suite executives

  • Learn how to publish “PB in the News” stories on the employee intranet

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across communications, marketing, human resources, DE&I and government affairs

Your background:

As a corporate communications intern you have:

  • A high degree of self-motivation

  • A positive attitude and strong drive for results

  • Strong communication and social media skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • A high degree of organization and are detail-oriented

  • Communications, or marketing coursework or equivalent internship experience.

Preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
