The role involves financial analysis of various kinds, research, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and project management. Activities include building valuation and other financial models, preparing presentations for internal and external uses, participating in and managing buy-side and sell-side due diligence, helping in the preparation of certain legal documents, help identify and review target acquisitions, and implementing most phases of corporate transactions.

Intellectually curious and comfortable with analytical modeling, having a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles
A person with attention to detail, plenty of common sense, and with an acute understanding of the fact that successful execution of daily operations is critical and necessary for success
Comfortable with engaging with peers and business unit experts (eg, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Accounting, HR)
Directly support the execution of acquisitions, divestitures and select other strategic projects worldwide, and you will be able to demonstrate skills including financial acumen, determination, project management and teamwork
Collaborate and serve as day-to-day project manager with Director or VP of Corporate Development on all phases of corporate M&A transactions worldwide
Support strong communication and relationships with colleagues from across the organizations, as well as certain external groups such as bankers and consultants, and managing the timely execution of numerous deadlines and milestones
Deliver analytically rigorous and data-driven insights and presentations that help Pitney Bowes make the right decisions the right way
As an Analyst, Corporate Development, you have:
Strong problem-solving and project management skills along with a commitment to high standards of accuracy, precision, and organization.
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, business judgment, and work ethic.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving and busy team environment and well-developed oral and written communication skills
Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
1-2 years of corporate development, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking experience (preferred but not required)
Experience building financial models and valuing companies preferred
