A performance driven and detailed driven Leader who understands critical operational and financial information and translates it into results. You are relationship orientated and proactive who will partner with business leaders to drive quality financial reporting and transformation.
Lead a dedicated GAO team to drive quality financial results
Be responsible for driving change in the accounting organization for our Global Financial Services line of business
Lead efforts to enhance internal controls and account reconciliation processes and oversee the effective implementation of enhancements of internal controls
Analyze financial results and identify trends and unexpected variances
Maintain and enhance financial reports to help business leaders analyze their financial results
Partner with product and business leaders in the implementation of new products to ensure product launches are structured and developed with sustainable processes
As Senior Manager, Portfolio Accounting – Global Financial Services for Pitney Bowes, you have:
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
At least 7 years of similar and/or public accounting experience
An understanding of the financial close process, including foreign currency matters and intercompany accounting
Experience managing people and driving cohesive teaming in a rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of internal controls, including experience designing and implementing controls in response to changing business needs
An understanding of transactional based processes that enables you to oversee functional management
Strong background using advanced Excel (pivot tables and v-lookup)
Master’s degree and/or a current CPA (or equivalent) license
Background in lessor accounting and revolving credit products
Experience with Oracle Leasing, Oracle / Hyperion Financial Reporting tools and SAP
Financial Services industry experience
