Job Description:

You Are:

An advanced-level Front-end Web Developer looking to join our distributed team of web professionals. An ideal candidate for this role will be an advanced front-end developer with multiple years of working experience and who works effectively in a remote environment. Attention to detail and a drive for consistent quality of work is a must.

You will:

  • Analyze and interpret designs from the User Experience department to plan the build of web components and pages

  • Plan and build the creation of web interfaces and components for integration into Adobe Experience Manager modules and components

  • Collaborate with the UX team to refine designs based on real-world technology and implementation constraints

  • Will work directly for Senior Front-End Web Developer to plan and delegate front-end tasks among other members of the team.

Your Background:

  • Must know HTML5 markup and usage of various elements at an advanced level

  • Must know CSS at an advanced level

  • Must have experience writing SCSS/SASS for compilation via a preprocessor like Gulp or Grunt

  • Must have experience using Javascript and jQuery for DOM manipulation at a mid-level

  • Must be able to test, debug and troubleshoot webpages within Chrome Inspect mode

  • Must be experienced in using version control tools such as Git

  • Must be able to hand-code HTML, SCSS, and JS in an IDE such as Visual Studio Code

Optional Skills:

  • Javascript framework experience like Angular a plus but not required

  • Image editing and optimization - experience resizing, tweaking and refining web images

  • Optimizing for speed and small file sizes a plus

  • Experience creating HTML components for use within a CMS a plus
