A detail oriented and forward thinking individual who will be a member of the Global Legal and Compliance Organization reporting to a Director who reports to a Deputy General Counsel within the Global Legal and Compliance Organization of Pitney Bowes.
Be responsible for managing the review and negotiation of the Company's client facing contracts, reviewing and negotiating requests for proposals, invitations to bid, equipment sale/ lease/rental agreements, software license agreements, software as a service (SaaS) agreements, Business Associate and non-disclosure agreements.
Interact with, and obtain input from, sales and other business leaders as well as subject matter experts
Obtain any necessary internal approvals and perform data base entries related to the foregoing.
Work with all levels within Pitney Bowes and the client organizations and have understanding of risk management elements and how they impact operations and the business as a whole
As a Contracts Manger you have:
5-10 years' experience in a similar role or contracts administration position.
Excellent organizational, drafting, oral communication, business analytical, and time management skills.
The ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline oriented environment..
The ability to work with minimal supervision, with strong ability to assess when to escalate issues.
The ability to tactfully stand ground on issues, even under significant pressure.
Solid knowledge of legal terminology, drafting skills, and familiarity with contract terms.
Sound PC knowledge, knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.
The ability to work off-hours and after-hours, depending on field support and as required for contract negotiations
