Job Description:

As a Strategic Growth Sales Manager - New Business , you will be responsible for delivering net new revenue growth by effectively planning and executing solutions sales process and activities focused on the assigned commercial market segment of Pitney Bowes customers and prospects within the Public Sector, Midlands to South West UK.

The incumbent is expected to be capable of executing a strategic “go-to market” sales strategy and sales execution plan to achieve the assigned personal sales quota and business objectives.

Be responsible for net new revenue growth into new clients as well as to significantly improve the cross-selling of simple and complex solutions with all opportunities in the assigned portfolio.

You will

  • Partner with dedicated Client Renewal and Product Specialist resources to ensure complete territory and account coverage.

  • Leverage resources to assist in making new customer contacts, validating applications, identifying new sales opportunities, conducting DNA and assist with closing business on an as needed basis.

  • Ensure complete territory and account coverage.

  • Provide an accurate forecast of personal sales results. Continuously review all opportunities in the sales pipeline and advance the stage of the sale to provide an accurate record of sales activities and monthly results that roll-up to the sales forecast.

  • Be responsible for securing new customers through identifying transformational business solution opportunities that provide compelling business value .

  • Constantly cultivate C-suite, line of business (LOB) relationships with prospective customers.

  • Ensure the timely/accurate recording, tracking and reporting of all sales activities, leads and customer/competitive information through ERP Stay current with new product knowledge, technology, services, and industry developments.

  • Provide highly focused ROI and use cases to clients to support closing the opportunity.

  • Provide an accurate forecast of personal sales results. Continuously review all opportunities in the pipeline and advance the state of the sales to provide an accurate record of sales activities


Qualifications - External

  • Strong successful personal sales history involved in account development, new business hunting and effective cross-selling to fully penetrate sales opportunities with existing and prospect accounts.

  • Experience selling cloud-based solutions

  • Ability to personally execute the solutions sales process, developing new and building account relationships to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals and business results.

  • Proven success by achieving or exceeding 100% of the total sales quota

  • Self-directed with the ability to effectively plan and document daily sales activities including appointments, customer call-backs, new contacts, prospect user calls, etc. Plan a balanced mix of calls to ensure complete coverage of the assigned territory and all opportunity types.

  • Ability to effectively work in an agile work environment using a variety of communication tools to engage with Clients and Prospects and with other Pitney Bowes resources; working in a non-typical office environment remotely. Travel and Face to face meetings will be required as necessary.

  • Proven use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools


  • Annual salary OTE of £100k plus per annum (Uncapped)

  • Company car / allowance
