Job Description:

As a candidate for this role, you are:

To be successful as a retention specialist, you should have a persuasive attitude, excellent customer relationship skills and a passion for a career in client success/sales.

Whilst our office is based in Harlow, Essex, we are open to applications from across the UK. We are hoping to hear from candidates who may have diverse career experiences within Retention's or roles related to working to case loads, Client success, Customer Service, Account Management, targets/KPIs or want to start a career in client relations and/or sales and wanting to use this as a good starting point.

You will be responsible for:

  • Receiving calls from existing clients wishing to cancel their agreement

  • Providing the best solution to the client to prevent them from cancelling their agreement

  • Accurately updating client agreements, accounts, paperwork and the CRM system in a timely manner

  • Managing pipeline and cancellation requests within specified SLA’s

  • Articulating our value proposition

  • Effectively negotiate Win/Win scenarios benefiting all parties

  • Putting the client first, providing excellent customer service

  • Achieving or exceeding all assigned KPI measures around targets/calls and case management

  • Negotiating with customers to renew contracts and retain business

  • Attending training, coaching and development sessions owning own development and striving to increase skill set at every opportunity

Your background:

You are:

  • A confident communicator who is able to quickly build relationships over the telephone

  • A natural solution finder approach who thrives on resolving problems and troubleshooting

  • Experienced in objection and rejection handling

  • A target driven person with a sales mentality to exceed expectations

  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team

  • Experienced in working in a fast paced environment

  • Able to multi-task using a variety of different systems on a daily bases whilst maintaining a heavy workload

  • Knowledgeable of Full Leasing / Rental & Purchase Portfolio within UK & ROI Retention's Team

Other relevant and beneficial skills could include ;

  • Experience working within retention's / handling complaints / Account/Client Management

  • Customer service qualification and/or experience

  • A growth mindset with some super transferable skills which will help us to build a platform for success in our Team

  • The ability to work in a team, with advanced communication and interpersonal skills

  • Coping strategies to enable you to effectively handle and manage rejection

  • Had the opportunity through your previous roles to develop your ability to influence, enabling you to engage at all levels

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

  • Empathy and patience

  • Advanced organizational skills

  • Worked towards targets and KPIs previously

  • A background within a Retention's'/Sales related role

Location: Remote based

Contract - Full time 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8:45-17:00 with no evening or weekend work required)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £20,000 p/a + UNCAPPED OTE average £10,000
