Ensures all new and existing employees have a good understanding of their Job functions through the following:

  • Ensure that all new employees are properly trained before performing any assigned tasks

  • Oversees training functions in all assigned areas

  • Ensure that all training paperwork is properly filled out and turned in to our TQM Manager in a timely manner

  • Provide ongoing training to all production staff as needed

  • Monitor to ensure that all employees are in compliance and performing within expectations

  • Ensure that all employees are properly trained before operating any equipment

Ensures Quality (TQM) standards are met at all times through the following:

  • Provide necessary training of proper practices and procedures to all production staff

  • Ensure that all production staff is acquainted and in compliance with our TQM program

  • Ensure employees are functioning under best practices by following TQM processes and procedures at all times

  • Ensure each employee is equally accountable and responsible for quality and compliance

  • Provide additional training or re-training when indicated

  • Report instances of noncompliance to management

Ensures a Safe working environment is maintained at all times through the following:

  • Trains all production staff on safe work practices and procedures

  • Guiding new and existing employees on the application of safe work practices through constant reinforcement

  • Review and demonstration of safe work practices and safety program during shift huddle sessions

  • Providing an on-going example of safe work practices

  • Active member in site’s Safety Committee

Additional responsibilities:

  • Assist employees with technological needs such as logging onto company website or password issues

  • Assist employees in efforts to participate in surveys, online programs, trainings, and events

  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

Your background:

As a Warehouse Mail Operations Trainer, you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a Presort mailroom facility is preferred

  • Previous training experience

  • Basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and email

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communicational skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodations

  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations

  • Based on operational need; must have a flexible schedule to work overtime, which may include weekends, holiday, and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice

  • Candidates must have a basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language
