You are:

A driven Individual who will be Responsible for fostering high client satisfaction for the Pitney Bowes PresortXtra customer base. Ensure clients derive value from Pitney Bowes PresortXtra Service through successful execution of training and mentoring of the PresortXtra team.

Manages and builds a team of sales, client service and vendor relationship personnel that partner with customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities, and to quickly solve any issues or discrepancies. Oversees and facilitates all communication for clients.

You will

  • As part of assigned supervisory duties sets performance standards, evaluates staff and conducts performance reviews; trains, counsels and disciplines staff; conducts interviews and selects staff to be hired. Mentor team to understand service capabilities, contributing to training and best practices, as well as work with clients as needed to educate them on mailpiece design issues.

  • Analyzes and evaluates required reporting to assure volumes, pricing and quality are appropriate and service level requirements are met

  • Develops a deep understanding of products and long-term business strategies and identifies additional revenue and business opportunities. Makes recommendations and presents proposals to management to increase revenue and profitability

  • Works closely with sales and client service team to on-board new clients and ensure all required paperwork is obtained and maintained.

  • Prioritizes plans and communicates regulatory changes to staff and works with them to execute. Develops an effective contact strategy that is measured by the preservation and protection of assigned clients. Rolls out strategy around USPS rate changes to staff and ensures they complete changes with all clients.

  • Provides training for newly hired customer staff

  • Ensures that client billing is executed timely and correctly

  • Obtains and maintains MDP (Mail Design Professional)

  • Attends all meetings and training sessions as required by management.

  • Other duties as assigned

Your background:

As an Executive Client Relationship Manager, you have:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills including the ability to adapt style as needed.

  • Computer skills using Microsoft Office

  • Ability to make sound decisions with the information at hand.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple work assignments with frequent interruptions.

  • Detail oriented a must

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Skill in effective listening.

  • Ability to develop and grow long-term client relationships.

  • Minimum 3 years of applicable work experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Our Presort Services team is a national outsource provider of mail presort services for first-class and standard-class mail in the U.S. and a workshare partner of the United States Postal Service (USPS). Our Presort Services network provides mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick up at their location to delivery into the postal system. Through our network of 33 U.S. locations, and with our fully customized proprietary technology, we process approximately 15 billion pieces of mail annually and are able to expedite delivery and optimize postage savings for our clients.
