Looking for a Quality Analyst who is expert at Data Quality, integrity and E2E data pipeline testing.

They should be a go getter, ready to take up any task assigned and deliver proactively with high quality consistently meeting the deadlines. The job involves leading various QA activities, interacting with the stakeholders and have a deep understanding of the business and the customer use cases. Exposure to AWS, Virtualization, DevOps will be good to have. Strong hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack. The Job

  • Very good hold on QA principles & testing methodologies.

  • Analyze data for compliance to design specification (source-to-target) and expected/anticipated behaviors, identifying quality issues and recommending solutions

  • Perform audits, as required, to ensure quality processes exist and are being adhered to.

  • Communicate the pervasiveness of data quality problems and their potential impacts and take the lead in resolving them via data integration and/or business process improvement.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and document data issues from internal and external customers

  • Actively communicate to internal/external/stakeholders/customers quality issues about the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used

  • Ability to write database queries, understand data model.

  • Hands on test automation experience

  • Ensure compliance with the company’s data privacy policy

  • Manage documentation related to data quality (data standards, definitions, DQA documents such as checklists, guidelines, manuals, templates, forms, etc.)

  • Test scenario designing, test case writing, and test case review.

  • Leverage PowerBI or Tableau or other data visualisation tools for Data Quality Scorecards or dashboards

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • UG - B.Tech/B.E. OR PG – M.S. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

  • 6-8 years’ experience in Data Quality domain

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment.

Must have:

  • Strong hands-on experience on Data warehouses, Data Lakes like Snowflake

  • Knowledge of data governance principles.

  • Test planning / scoping / risk mitigation.

  • Good communication & interpersonal skills

  • Experience of working in Scaled Agile environment

  • Database – Ability to write database queries, understand data model.

  • Self-Driven, should have highly analytical, critical thinking ability & problem-solving skills

  • Data Performance test expertise for mission critical, highly scalable applications.

  • Ability to troubleshoot customer escalations

  • Recent Hands on experience on automation tools like informatica, selenium, Cypress, JMeter , Postman , Python scripting

  • Working experience on tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio and other ticketing/documentation tools

  • Willingness to learn and contribute to new areas.

Good to have:

  • Exposure & experience with – AWS, Virtualization and White Box testing

  • Exposure to UI/API testing

  • Help creating synergies between multiple QA teams and adopt best practices.

  • Exposure to data observability tools like MonteCarlo
