As a Technical Lead, you ensure peak productivity at our client facility driving optimization efforts within the equipment, workflow and processes. In this role, you will serve as the resident technical expert on Pitney Bowes products within the facility providing constant input and feedback with corrective action to site management. The Lead Technician role does not have direct reports.

Provide work direction to site technicians and provide input and feedback to direct supervisors on technician performance.
Provide phone support, emergency on-site support as required.
Provide assistance with equipment moves and upgrades.
Leverage data and analytics to ensure top site productivity, provide suggestions for improvement/best practices, and enact corrective action plans to address issues.
Mentor team members to increase capability, efficiency, and thought process.
Collaborate with site teams to identify/correct gaps causing deficiencies in operational effectiveness.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills with experience in maintaining, repairing or installing high production machinery, inserters, sorters, or comparable equipment preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including proven ability to troubleshoot machine problems, establish priorities and work under deadline pressures.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Complete familiarity within a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC interaction with automated equipment.
Ability to provide direction, coordinate, and distribute work depending on technical/operational needs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as required.
AA degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field of study is preferred.
Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (State in which driver resides).
