A well connected and knowledgeable business development go-getter who can immediately contribute to growth by leading the business development efforts in creating and expanding partnerships. Work closely with key partners to optimize performance by agreeing to targets and annual plans, maximizing performance of partner campaigns, and leading QBRs and retrospectives.
Be accountable for identifying, negotiating, and implementing new strategic partnerships.
Craft partnership structures that are advantageous to both parties and economic benefit is quantifiable and immediately attractive to Pitney Bowes.
Ensure active partnerships are meeting expected business and financial goals.
Identify, qualify, and recruit new partners and develop ongoing relationships.
Source and pro-actively manage partner pipeline to ensure consistent growth and regular deal flow.
Monitor partner and campaign performance while swiftly adjusting strategy or tactics as needed to meet financial commitments.
Cross sell expanded product offerings that include a broad set of working capital solutions for small and lower middle market businesses to address a growing set of needs; this includes Revolving Lines of Credit and Term Loans as well as Accounts Receivable and Payables Finance
Understand Pitney Bowes’ existing lending capabilities and work with key stakeholders to engineer unique value propositions which would be attractive to prospective partners
Contribute to shaping Pitney Bowes’ platform partnership strategy and identify both new areas of focus as well as existing areas that can be improved across the partner ecosystem
Be the face of Pitney Bowes with key partners; build engagement and execute tactical plans centered on driving profitable growth
Drive internal teamwork and collaboration with all areas of GFS, the Pitney Bowes Bank, PB businesses (SendTech, Commerce Services) along with other functional partners
As a Director, Partnership Business Developer, you have:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline; MBA or Graduate degree preferred
7+ years of experience in partnership development, preferably in the financial services and/or technology sector
Supply chain/logistics experience (key industry contacts)
