Job Description:

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our development team to take ownership of our growing Branded Portal solution set. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a tech stack, while looking for constant improvements in efficiency and scale. As well as developing a high level understanding of The CrescoData Tech Stack and associated commerce ecosystem this role requires a logical and inquiring mind as well as the ability to solve problems to a logical outcome.

All components run on Amazon AWS, this position will provide great exposure to cloud based technologies and provide an opportunity to work on many components of a platform.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of scaling the Branded solution, while improving the current foundations. This coupled with the development of new channel integrations, if required. Some common tasks will include:

  • Creation of new Branded Portals

  • Updating the front end based on Branding requirements.

  • Configuration of settings, based on customers defined needs.

  • Working with APIs to integrate new channels such as eCommerce platforms and Marketplaces

Skills and Qualifications

We'd like you to have the following skills:

  • 4-5 years’ experience

  • Any dynamic programming language (Python/Ruby/PHP/Perl) - preferred python

  • Any databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySql) - preferred NoSQL AWS DynamoDB or MongoDB

  • Good communicator (English)

  • Team player

  • Desire to be mentored and learn from the team

  • BE/BTech Degree qualified

  • Bright, fast-learner and keen to work with new technologies

In addition, the following skills would be useful:

  • Internal Product tools - Management Portal

  • Jira / Atlassian

  • Knowledge base

  • IDE (JetBrains)

  • AWS

  • Documentation tools

  • Optional

  • Past working experience with RestAPIs

  • AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS

  • Code management tools such

  • Django framework

  • Serverless architectures

  • Angular (any version)
