As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the team that designs, develops and provides 3rd level support for all network (LAN, WAN, network security, and load balancer) devices within Pitney Bowes. You will be involved in all aspects of the deployed technologies, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, test, secure and support. Automation is a key component of Pitney Bowes’ future network state and as such You must have working knowledge and experience automating the environment with Python/Ansible. Design, implement and perform operational support of the company’s network infrastructure, including Switches (Cisco, HP, Aruba, Arista), routers (Cisco, Cloudgenix), wireless (Cisco, Aruba), Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Zscaler), IPS (Cisco, Fortinet, Zscaler), Network Policy (ISE, Clearpass), DNS/DHCP (Infoblox), load balancers (F5, Netscaler) and network visibility (Riverbed, NetScout, ExtraHop).
Design & Development of Network Infrastructure Solutions that are highly available and support business continuity requirements.
Simplify, Secure, Standardize, Automate, and develop Self Service throughout the Network Services portfolio.
Work with the Network Operations Team to educate and train staff on network technologies.
Work with PB’s business areas, vendors and other system professionals to identify, design and implement innovative network solutions.
Evaluating new technologies and making recommendations for products that support the network Infrastructure.
Participate in workflow and policy improvements.
Support engineering and sustaining engineering projects as the Network Services representative.
Establish the networking environment by designing networking configurations, participating with installations, and defining, documenting, and enforcing network standards.
Develop and maintain network topology, solution, and application-flow diagrams.
Assist Network Operations maximizing network performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages.
Secure network systems by implementing security controls and establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
Working with Network Operations, select and implement network and network security tools along with network standard operating procedures.
Provides on-call 24x7 support when required.
Assist with preparing Statement of Work documents and seeking vendor input.
Supporting acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions that meets the needs of our customers

Qualifications & Skills required
UG - B. BS/MS in Computer Engineering or RELATIVE Working Experience
At least 5 years’ experience designing and developing large scale, mission critical and high availability network solutions
Knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, or Arista Switching
Knowledge of Cisco/Aruba Wireless
Knowledge of Firewalls (Fortinet/Cisco ASA/Zscaler)
Technical Knowledge of Routing (BGP, OSPF)
Scripting knowledge and automation experience (Python/Ansible)
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment
