In this role, you will join our Presort Services Team. You will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with management and security personnel to document and perform audits/analyses for various security measures/processes.

  • Recommends/develops, and calculates, various metrics to measure site performance

  • Provides weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual metric readouts for various areas of the business

  • Assists with the preparation of quarterly analysis of price, and revenue, information by customer.

  • Monitors various trends and researches variances.

  • Assists in researching and explaining deviations from trends.

  • Develop, prepare and interpret analyses around profitability, postage analysis, productivity metrics and various projects.

  • Provide ad hoc analyses and/or research issues as requested by company management.

  • Provides weekly analyses around staffing levels (compared to volume and productivity), in partnership with the management team, and works with vendors to ensure proper staffing levels exist while maintaining system integrity.

  • Provides daily/weekly analyses of production employee hours that have not met basic criteria to ensure there are no issues with pay cycles.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Advanced proficiency of Excel required

  • Strong analytical skills are required to see deviations from "normal" operational trends and financial statements.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both, verbal, and written, in a one-on-one setting, or, small group situations, with management, clients, and vendors.

  • Proficiency with business acumen in the following areas; data analysis, metrics/KPI’s, operational standards

  • Proficiency with business acumen in the areas of; financial statements (P&L, forecasting, budgeting), OR the willingness, and desire, to learn quickly

  • Candidate must be proficient in the English language in order to follow safety, and other operational directions, irrespective of their native language.

  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary tools and procedures utilized in the everyday business.

The Team

Our Presort Services team is a national outsource provider of mail presort services for first-class and standard-class mail in the U.S. and a workshare partner of the United States Postal Service (USPS). Our Presort Services network provides mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick up at their location to delivery into the postal system. Through our network of 40+ U.S. locations, and with our fully customized proprietary technology, we process approximately 15 billion pieces of mail annually and are able to expedite delivery and optimize postage savings for our clients.
