Schedule: 2nd Shift-Mon-Fri (1:00pm -9:30pm)

Base Pay: $23.00/HR

2nd Shift Differential: $0.50/HR

You are:

The GEC Operations Excellence Lead is responsible for driving continuous improvement and top tier quality. You will work with operations teams to ensure adherence to process requirements and SOPs to drive KPIs and goal metrics. You will complete multiple audit functions with focus on quality documentation to drive behaviors that support service excellence.

You will:

• Audit Operations processes according to SOPs

• Identify opportunities for improvements

• Work with Operations Excellence Supervisor to ensure SOPs are accurate.

• Perform new client testing

• Assist with parcel and technical issues

• Assist with parcel exceptions and timely resolution

• Assist in reducing errors

• Train and coach associates on all standard processes as requested and needed

• Communicate with Operations leadership on improvements, successes, and issues.

• Constructively watch employees and provide feedback on a regular basis to their management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your background:

As a GEC Operations Excellence Lead, you have:

• Prior lead experience or equivalent

• Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve independently

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong communication skills

• Team player mentality

• The ability to work in a high paced environment

• The ability to work a flexible work schedule

• Familiarity with Word, Excel, Email, and WMS interface

• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.

• The ability to walk and stand 80% of the time with or without accommodation.

• The ability to stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation.

• Basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of your native language

Preferred:

• Native level English speaking, reading, writing skills

• Bi-lingual is a plus – Spanish, French, Hindi, Creole, other

• Experience within the logistics or parcel shipping industry preferred
