Job Description:

You are:

A highly motivated professional who can drive the financial reporting controllership of capital expenditures in the Global Ecommerce organization. You are relationship orientated and will partner with our Innovation and Warehouse teams to develop financial analysis for Capex proposals, analyze actual results, and ensure we stay in budget.

You will

  • Review proposals for Capex by validating assumptions, ROI/IRR calculations, and partnering with Innovation team members of the CIP/business case. This includes ensuring projects are included in our annual plan/forecast

  • Track all GEC Capex to ensure monthly updates to actuals/forecast for projects are maintained

  • Perform and/or participate in retrospective reviews to prior capital investment projects that validate achievement of savings and/or identify deficiencies in our success, communicates results to decision makers, and partners to drive necessary results

  • Partner with Innovation / Operations / Accounting Teams on Equipment Leases to ensure costs fall within budget and processes are followed including contracts signed, POs placed, assets tracked

  • Plan and review the fixed cost components of the Warehouse Facilities, including occupancy costs (rent, utilities, janitorial, security, etc.); equipment leases; and depreciation/amortization

Your background:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, operations, business analytics or related field

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in finance and/or accounting roles, preferably in a matrixed organization

  • An understanding of the budget/planning, forecasting, and analysis processes of a typical FP&A role (actuals review, monthly forecasting, annual budget)

  • A desire to get into the details and help understand variances, issues, and bring solutions to the table

  • Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Strong teamwork skills and desire to work together to improve current processes that streamline activities and improve profitability

  • Expert level Excel skills

Preferred

  • MBA

  • Experience with SAP, PMR and Anaplan

  • Supply Chain industry experience is a plus
