Job Description:

You are:

A Self-motivated Contributor who can take ownership of the Purchase Order and vendor management process and communicate ways to create valuable improvements. You are a Loyal individual who is detail oriented and will contribute to cost savings and containment initiatives.

You will:

  • Own the Purchase Order process for production expenses across the Presort Enterprise including assuring proper documentation is included, proper account coding is used and POs are progressing through the workflow once submitted.

  • Research AP/PO issues as they arise including but not limited to applying credit memos as needed, working with vendors on any PO issues, making sure vendors are submitting invoices according to policy and applying to correct POs.

  • Act as the point person for setting up all IT purchase orders for the Presort business.

  • Handle all new vendor additions/changes. This includes working with the Presort business to transition vendors being used on credit card transactions to the PO process for better tracking and cost containment.

  • Provide support to the inventory parts team as available to aid in processing parts invoices.

Your background:

As a AP Purchase Order Specialist, you have:

  • Knowledge of PC applications and accounting software for AP usage.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office applications including a basic excel knowledge.

  • Minimum of 3 years in accounts payable related role.

  • Strong communication skills and self motivation to work independently.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or experience equivalent

  • AP and Vendor management knowledge.
