Job Description:

As a Product Manager, SaaS Shipping Solutions, you will not only join us in our next phase of product growth, but be the driving force behind the transformation. In this role, you will explore new business opportunities and build exciting new products that take our SaaS shipping portfolio into new spaces. You’ll work cross-functionally with other departments as well as with the leadership team to define the product roadmap, features, and strategy. You will have end to end ownership and management of your product.

This position can be located anywhere in the continental US.

You will:

  • Own the Full Product Lifecycle : Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities to asset management strategies. Set and lead the strategic direction of the Shipping SaaS product group, including maintaining a detailed product vision and product roadmaps. Lead development and daily management of product requirements and development strategy with product architects and engineering directors. Adher to common architectural standard objectives set by the organization.

  • Conduct Market Analysis: Lead analysis and maintain a strong understanding of relevant markets, customer needs and competitive offerings to manage a rapidly growing business and identify new profitable and market opportunities

  • Ensure Product Profitibility: Have full responsibility for product lifecycle profitability (Gross Profit / EBIT). Determine the pricing strategy for the product group, including bundles with associated products. Populate applicable product financial and operating metrics for leadership and internal partners.

  • Manage Cross-Functional and Cross-BU Relationships : Lead/manage matrix relationships across functions, BU's, and geographies. Develop high-level channel strategies in collaboration with regional product management, regional sales and corporate marketing teams. Collaborate across business unit boundaries to utilize best available PB-wide technology

  • Drive Client Centered Innovation: Maintain high levels of end-to-end customer satisfaction for the assigned product group. Define and drive the execution of end-to-end customer experience including customer support. Define and articulate the product or solution value proposition in all target markets

  • Represent Products: Develop and present business cases, progress reports, and other business reports to internal and external partners and leaders, as appropriate.Be a subject matter expert on the mid to enterprise market, including specifically the changing professional experience of a range of relevant small office personas.

Your background:

  • 7+ years of experience with highly engineered SaaS software products / solutions in a Product Management, Product Marketing or Business Development role OR 10+ years in a product management, development and/or product support capacity with complementary skills in market analysis and financial management

  • Demonstrated success extracting value from cross-functional product teams

  • Experience in financial management and business case development

  • Experience in utilizing customer insights to drive product innovation

  • Experience in making product and solution tradeoffs to optimize customer value

  • Exposure to global business operations

  • Experience evaluating and distributing through multiple channels

  • Understanding of portfolio metrics / measurement

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation/arbitration

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Shipping related software solutions

  • MBA

  • Experience using Product Management tools Aha! and Jira

  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodology, specifically in software development

Compensation:

In accordance with Colorado statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location, at the time of this posting, is $130,000 - $160,000 / year . The salary will vary depending on your geographic location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
