*Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Full Time Direct Hire Transportation Forklift/Equipment Operator position in our Canal Winchester, OH Facility. *
1st Shift Forklift Operator
7:30am - 3:30pm
Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri
Weds and Saturday OFF.
Base Pay: $19.50
You Are:
A detail-oriented individual who will thrive in a fast-paced team centered operations environment while developing new skills in the commerce industry. You are a hard-working and vital contributor to our company’s success in meeting productivity standards and customer satisfaction ratings. You are experienced in driving industrial vehicles in a warehouse setting while ensuring material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. You have proven record of operating equipment in a safe manner.
You will:
Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks etc.
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Use Microsoft Office applications.
Stack packages on feed conveyor to ensure continual flow.
Your background:
As A Transportation Forklift/Equipment Operator, you have:
A basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of your native language.
The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.
1 – 2 years experience operating equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
Working knowledge of space planning and loading 52’ trailers.
The ability to multi-task.
The ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Prior parcel, fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience.
