Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager, 2nd Shift (Onsite in Canal Winchester, OH). We serve the Columbus, Ohio area. Your start time will be 4:00PM EST from Monday – Friday occasional weekend coverage.

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $128,000 with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is eligible for quarterly field bonus.

A senior leader who will thrive in a fast-paced team centered on a production environment with responsibility to effectively manage and control all operational and associate activities within the warehouse including receiving, processing, shipping of delivery and returns. You are an instrumental contributor to our company’s success in meeting productivity standards and customer satisfaction ratings by ensuring proper implementation and enforcement of policies, holding a high standard of safety and the continuous training of employees, leads and associates in the warehouse.

You will:

• Partner with the Facility Director to control costs within the distribution center such as labor, supplies, and P & L management.

• Driving Responsible for shift performance, Service Level Agreements, WMS, LMS, Yard Management Systems and employee engagement.

• Facilitate and coordinate quarterly/annual performance reviews and development plans. 

• Full ownership of staffing, metrics, daily reports, labor planning, and facility performance. 

• Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and client managers.

• Partner with HR, Transportation, QA, and Maintenance to deliver excellent service to our clients.

• Ability to coach, develop and have a strong focus on succession planning.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by retaining/developing world class diverse talent.

• Identify and analyze data to quickly make improvements for processes in fast paced environment.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policy.

• Set goals and objectives that align with business strategies.

As a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager, you have:

• 6+ years leading a salaried team with ownership of 300+ hourly associates.

• This manager will lead approximately 4 operations managers and 18 supervisors.

• Working knowledge in a parcel or fulfilment setting with exposure to cross docking, outbound and inbound operations.

• Basic understanding and knowledge of OSHA and Fire safety regulations to be able to drive as one of the focuses.

• Ability to drive accountability and development amongst team members.

• Flexible schedule depending on the operational needs including some holidays, weekends, or mid shift !

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

• Intermediate to advanced level computer skills with MS: Excel, pivot table, spreadsheets, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Must be a team player with excellent people and organizational skills.

• A leader that values creativity and partnership amongst their team members.
