Austin, TX (Hybrid role; can work remotely up to 3 days/week.)

Salary or Salary Range: $134,472 - $141,933 per year

As a Senior Data Scientist, develop and execute algorithms and statistical predictive models. Determine analytical approach and model techniques to evaluate outcomes. Apply analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze data using statistical techniques and mathematical analyses. Apply Operations Research methodologies to optimize Pitney Bowes’ parcel shipping network. Use analytic delivery model with industry methodologies and tools. Solve business problems to investigate and detect problems and recommend solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders on technology and business solutions. Help manage and mentor Associate Data Scientists. Develop advanced analytics to identify opportunities, optimize performance. Hybrid role; can work remotely up to 3 days/week.

Must possess at least a master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research or a related field and at least 3 years of prior experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role using Operations Research and Continuous Simulation modeling. In the alternative, at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Engineering, Data Science, or a related field and at least 5 years of prior progressive experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role using Operations Research and Continuous Simulation modeling would be acceptable. Must possess at least 3 years of experience with eCommerce and Logistics; at least 3 years of experience with Cloud Data Stacks, SQL and Python; at least 3 years of experience with Python library for statistical analysis; at least 3 years of experience using Graph structures to implement spatial data; at least 3 years of experience building and implementing prediction models and forecasting models for internal customers; and at least 3 years of experience in Network Optimization.
